Robert V. Tadlock
President/CEOAs President/CEO, Robert Tadlock is responsible for overall firm leadership, including implementing core values, mission, culture, and vision to staff. Robert brings over 30 years of industry specific experience in the geotechnical, construction inspection and materials testing field. His passionate commitment ensures that high-quality service is provided to all clients and that any necessary action is taken to maintain the firm’s high reputation for excellence in engineering and customer service. His responsibilities also include participation as Project Principal on selected key assignments.
David Palermo
Chief Financial OfficerAs CFO, David Palermo is responsible for control of day-to-day financial and accounting responsibilities, including financial statements, banking relationships, accounts payable, accounts receivable, human resources, payroll & employee benefits, and overall management of UER's corporate accounting department. David contributes more than 30 years of accounting experience including 14 years as a principal in a public accounting firm, specializing in individual and business accounting and taxation with a concentration in construction accounting/taxation, estate and trust taxation, planning, and accounting. David is highly dedicated to his profession and maintains the highest standards for professional and ethical performance.
Carla Collins
VP, Corporate Business DevelopmentAs Vice President of Corporate Business Development, Carla Collins oversees UER’s strategic growth plan. She has more than 10 years of experience in the testing and inspections industry. Carla is responsible for long-term strategic growth and overseeing the corporate sales plan. She also manages client relationships and retention and promotes teaming opportunities. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and Marketing and was recognized as one of the region’s Top 40 Under 40 Young Professionals in 2012 by the Sacramento Business Journal. Carla currently sits on the Board of Directors of Construction Management Association of America (CMAA) NorCal, and previously served for Urban Land Institute (ULI).
